hey you guys I'm here with another DIY
and it's gonna be a graduation gift box
and what do I say it's a gift box cuz
honey it's gonna be gift money in there
so that is awesome I actually made one
for my child so I have to show you how
to make one now all you need is a
Kleenex box it's optional you can have
any bugs you want it's really up to you
go ahead and make one it came out really
cute and I'm really happy I did it and
look at how gorgeous it looks so I
actually made one for my son he's
graduating from kindergarten and look at
how cute it came out and the colors that
I chose for him were black and gray and
I'm gonna go ahead and make one for my
niece she's actually graduating from
kindergarten so I decided to make her
one and with a little tassel as well and
it's gonna be in the pink now I'm gonna
go ahead and use pink cardstock and I'm
gonna use that for her box so yeah I
think it's lovely in its double stick
tape and that's what I'm using you can
actually use a hot glue you can use tape
make sure you have to finish running
grab some scissors and let's get started
now I'm actually gonna go ahead and tape
this box up with double stick tape all
the way around so go ahead and cut it
press it down into the box and do it on
the next side and it's gonna work
fabulous let me tell you it's gonna work
watch go ahead and be generous with your
tape and then just peel it off now why
is this called double stick tape because
it has tape on both sides which is
perfect because I'm gonna be using this
cardstock and it actually works out very
well you can go ahead and use
construction paper you can use felt it's
optional and it's really up to you use
whatever you have around your home and
you can also use whatever color you need
if your kid is graduating in blue or in
yellow go ahead and make it in blue you
know it's really up to you I'm sure it's
gonna look really cute when you're done
and I'm sure they're gonna love it now
all I'm doing is peeling this off and
getting ready to get my kharsa
to make sure you have in these two
sheets of the same color because you're
actually gonna need three one more for
the cap put it on the edge of the corner
and just press it down press it down
nice and tight and smooth it out make
sure there's no wrinkles and once you're
done go to the next side and do it all
over again now it's a very simple step
to the whole box the same let me move
this so you guys could see and that's
what I'm doing the same steps over and
over again until you have the whole box
covered just how you like it
now hi to all my new subscribers I just

good and yeah let's finish this box so
all you're gonna do is peel off the top
and that's what I'm working on and
gently place in the cardstock over the
box and smooth it out there you go now
we're gonna go ahead and throw this
little piece as well just to finish it
off
might as well and it actually worked out
very good that I did that because the
next piece just went right on top so
smooth it in press it down smooth and
we're gonna get ready to cut all the
excess stuff now go ahead and let's
start cutting make sure you've got
eight-foot pair of scissors do not cut
yourself do not cut the box and make
sure you cut around the line just so
everything looks really nice and neat we
want everything to look nice and neat
until you give that person he or she
their graduation gift box look at how
the top looks it looks actually very
good don't worry about the top until the
end because we are gonna cover that so
I'm not too worried about the top right
now all I'm worried about is the bottom
I wanted to sit well and to look
presentable and look at how cute it's
already coming out now go ahead and grab
more double stick tape and it's finished
yourself
it's actually looking very cute I'm so
happy I made it I'm sure they're gonna
love it and I hope they love it so go
ahead and put it around the whole box
and it's through the same process until
we finish it so just peel off the corner
grab your cardstock and let's put it
right like right next to it touching as
close as you can don't worry if it
passes the line we'll cut it with our
scissors press on it just so it holds
and let's finish it now you can buy
anything you need from the Dollar Tree
I'm sure you'll find even the Kleenex
box you'll find it there you can always
empty it out put the Kleenex in like a
ziploc bag and go ahead and make this
you'll find the paper at the Dollar Tree
as well the stickers the numbers
everything that I'm using here you can
find at the Dollar Tree and if for some
reason you cannot find it go to your
Walmart I'm sure they have everything
there and that's why I picked up my yarn
so go ahead and find it there but all
I'm doing right now is removing the
sticker it's a little hard to remove but
don't worry once you got it the whole
thing comes out so just take your time I
hope everybody is doing well and now
we're gonna do is press this down and
we're gonna cut it now we're done with
the bottom of the box all we're gonna do
is grab our scissors and cut it make
sure you take your time make sure you
cut it nice and neat and don't cut your
fingers you guys I'm gonna get in
trouble and there you go it's nice and
cut now go ahead and look at the top if
the top needs any cutting go ahead and
do it now don't worry too much about the
top because we are gonna go ahead and
make a cap and we're gonna glue it on
there so it's really not gonna show but
we also want the cap not to look
lopsided and there you go
now the next step that we're doing is
the cap now for the cap I use a piece of
cardboard you have laying around your
house go ahead and use it and we're
gonna cut them it
go ahead and grab your exacto blade and
cut the middle off make sure it's big
enough so money comes in and out of it
if you don't have an exacto blade grab a
knife grab a pair of scissors anything
will work now we're gonna go ahead and
use one sheet of the card stock and
we're gonna go ahead and cover this now
I'm gonna use the same step I'm gonna go
ahead and use double stick tape and it
actually worked
very well so I'm happy it did and I'm
gonna tape it right there just on the
edges and I'm gonna take it out and I'm
gonna go ahead and I put another piece
now if you do not want to use double
stick tape you don't have to go ahead
and have your hot glue gun running you
can actually use your hot glue gun you
can use a little bit of crazy glue you
can use regular tape and just tape it
down whatever you have in your home you
can go ahead and use that or you can go
buy some at the Dollar Tree or in your
nearest Walmart it's really optional I'm
happy I used a double stick tape because
it actually holds everything very well
let me tell you everything holds up very
well and it makes it look nice and
smooth and that's what I like I like it
when it looks nice and smooth I hate
when it looks wrinkled or you know
wrinkly I don't like that make sure you

now on I'm doing is adding more the
double stick tape on the edges just so
everything holds once I put it together
that is the only reason I'm using a
little bit more but you don't have to it
actually holds very well make sure you
have all your stuff ready that you're
gonna use to decorate if you're gonna
make little stars
some people make little graduation caps
on there and put you know how glue them
on there it's really it's you okay so
we're ready now grab the edge and now
you're gonna do is press it tightly down
and look at how well that holds not do
it on the next side the opposite side
press it down tightly and it's gonna
hold beautiful okay so now I'm gonna
grab more double stick tape and I'm
gonna put it on the edges because I'm
gonna do the same thing to the opposite
side of the edges I'm just gonna double
stick tape them and I'm actually gonna
use my hot glue gun so make sure your
hot glue gun is running because it's
gonna be useful right now
now all I'm gonna do is remove the top
of it very simple use your nails and
remove it and we're gonna go ahead and
press it down
so grab the edge and press it down nice
and tight and do the same thing to the
opposite side grab your edge press it
down now I didn't like how the corners
looked I thought they were ugly and
bumpy once I turned it around
so grab your scissors and just cut them
off one two three and four just cut them
off doesn't matter anyways turn it
around it looks gorgeous and you're not
gonna see the bottom now we're gonna go
ahead and grab a little bit of the hot
glue because I noticed that it was not
closing properly so I'm gonna go ahead
and do a hot 81 line of hot glue right
there and I'm gonna press it down with
my hands and they hold perfect do the
same thing on the opposite side a line
of hot glue and just press it down and
it holds perfect hold it down press on
it and we're done now we're gonna go
ahead and open that hole in the middle
so I'm gonna go ahead and take off my
exacto blade and it's a kid that my
husband gave me for Christmas and let me
tell you it's perfect it works for a ton
of DIY projects and you're gonna need
one of these I'm he picked it up at
Amazon I'm not sure for how much but if
you really want to know I'll ask him and
write it down below are you to grab your
blade put it inside the tool and be
careful to not cut yourself once it's
inside the tool are you gonna do is
close the bottom and it does not move at
all it's nice and safe and look at how
many blades it comes with you can cut so
many things and carve so many things you
can cover carve a pumpkin with that and
it'll come up fabulous
now I'm gonna do is trace the middle
just to see where my lines around and
I'm gonna turn it around and I'm gonna
cut into it see how simple it is I could
see the lines right there
so I'm just gonna cut into it exactly
how I made the lines and I should leave
any hole open for my money now if you
don't have one of this
like I said grab a knife grab some
scissors and just cut it open and it
actually does the job all I'm doing is
trimming and then I'm gonna go ahead and
punch it out look at how simple it is
this blade in this knife is so amazing
but you really have to be careful not to
cut yourself
it is super sharp and it'll cut anything
and punch it out and that's it I have my
opening for my money and I'm really
happy it came out really pretty and
that's it you guys okay how simple it
was
isn't that cool and the next step is to
actually put your money together so go
ahead and grab all the money you're
gonna put in now that's optional you
don't have to put in too much you don't
have to put in money at all you could
put in a note that says I love you I'm
proud of you you could put in a gift
card you can put in $20 you can put in
10 you could put in 50 you can even put
a hundred it's really up to you the
first thing you're gonna need is tape
you could pick up that and your Dollar
Tree it is just regular tape and then
your money and whatever money you're
gonna use and now I went ahead and I
change the 20 into all dollars that way
it looks nice and full but it's really
up to you I made this little sign that
says pour just from the card stock and I
roll pull from the stickers that you
pick up at the Dollar Tree look at how
simple it is you get two of them for a
dollar and all I did was write pull and
I'm gonna show you how I put the money
together right now all you do is grab a
piece of tape on the front of the money
flip it around grab another piece and
tape it on the back and that's it tape
all your money together it's that simple
I already made it make sure that all
your tens 20s and 50s are taped all the
way at the bottom you don't want that
showing until the end and then just roll
it up and you're ready I went ahead and
pre take my money just so this video
wouldn't be
way too long for you but it's ready and
let's go ahead and put it in now I'm
gonna show you exactly how I put it in
the box
make sure your hot glue gun is running
I'm you're gonna need it right now
and have your money ready now you can
put the money however you like but
that's how I did it now I'm gonna show
you really quick all I'm looking for is
my front of the box so this is gonna be
the front and the top is gonna go like
that so look it I'm just gonna show you
really quick have fun this is you put
your money in you stick it through the
middle of the box let's say we just
glued it and then you just have that
person pool and look at how fun this is
anybody would love to get this gift I
know I would this is great birthday for
a teacher anniversary whatever I'm gonna
do is take the money back out and just
fold it back in I want it to look nice
and presentable until that person pulls
it out but look at how fun that was so
put your money back in and we're gonna
hot glue this once you hot glue it you
cannot lift it so make sure that you put
it down just how you like it because
once it's hot glue you cannot lift it
I'm telling you right now so we're gonna
put the hot glue right onto the box and
be generous put it all around the
corners and put a ton of it just so it
stays nice and put before it dries go
ahead and grab the lid
pull your money outside and press it
down go ahead and press it down nice and
tight so it does not move press it press
it and there you go and okay how cute
that is I even like it like that I think
it looks really cute like that if you
want to give it to somebody like that
you can even write happy birthday in the
front you can write happy anniversary
you know you can write I love you mom to
be a Mother's Day gift that would be
awesome but yeah we're gonna go ahead
and decorate it I'm actually gonna go
ahead and put congrats and grad and 2019
on there so yeah
I'm gonna go ahead and use these
stickers that I showed you from the
Dollar Tree and I'm gonna go ahead and
write congrats and Groudon they're
really quick I just wanted to show you
now the stickers come in different
colors make sure you do it nice and it
goes straight in the line and there you
go the stickers come in different colors
and you can actually you know make them
green they come in red they come in
purple they come in pink
they come in those gray like I have
right there and in the black and I'm
gonna go ahead and just spell it really
quick just for you can see how cute it
actually comes out and don't be scared
once you put it on there it's gonna be
stuck so if you mess up just keep going
who cares I'm gonna go ahead and write
it in right now and there you go look at
how gorgeous they came out I think that
looks great you can even use it like
that now you can add the kids name you
can add the name that you're giving it
to whoever but I'm gonna go ahead and
add 2019 and I just wanted to show you
really quick I picked these up at the
Dollar Tree these were the bigger ones
that I used on the first one and I
actually like the bigger ones but since
I couldn't find any more I picked some
up at Amazon and all I did was paint um
hot pink that's all so go ahead and find
yours at Amazon

so here are the letters and I mean
numbers and they came out really cute so
all we're gonna do is we're gonna hot
glue them on there and that's it and
that'll be my decorations you you can go
ahead and put anything else you want
it's really up to you I love the way it
looks and I love that I use of numbers
it actually looks cuter and by me
putting them hot pink they stand out
more so you can go ahead and do any
color you want you can throw in
different colors you can make it rainbow
it's really up to you and then we're
gonna go ahead and add the tool and okay
ha gorgeous and it holds up very well on
the box
I think that the hot glue the numbers
were a great idea and especially since I
colored on well yeah they came out even
better let's add the zero and that's
coming out really cute I hope you guys

let's go ahead and make the final step
and the final step for this is to make a
tassel I don't know if you guys know how
to make a tassel so I'm gonna make a
quick one just to show you because I
could just make this on my own and add
it but I just wanted to show you I'm
gonna be doing it with the white and
pink yarn you can use whatever color you
want I'm gonna make it white and pink so
I'm gonna go ahead and show you now the
trick to this is to use all four of your
fingers and you're gonna go around 25
times no more no less
why 25 because it looks really nice when
you do 25 when you make any more it
looks really fat and bulky and I don't
like how it looks but it's really up to
you
I'm doing 25 and that's all I need I'm
gonna go ahead and cut it now I'm gonna
tie this up with a pink when pink yarn
so go ahead and grab a decent size of
pink yarn cut it and that's what we're
gonna tie it with slide it from your
fingers press it on the top grab your
pink yarn and tie a knot actually the
tie a double knot cuz that's gonna hold
it even better just go ahead and tie
your double knot nice and tight there
you go now you can release it and you're
ready to add it grab your scissors we're
gonna go ahead and cut the bottom off
make sure you do not cut your finger
slide it in there grab it up and cut it
and look at how gorgeous it comes out
now we're just gonna go ahead and fix it
up because I want it to look really nice
and neat you know who I am so we're
gonna cut anything that's sticking out
anything that's too small anything
that's too big we're gonna go ahead and
shape it up make sure everything matches
nice and just go ahead and make it all
the same now make sure you have your hot
glue gun running we're gonna use a dot
of hot glue gun and when I say it on a
mini time don't use more don't useless
all we need is a one little dot and the
back of the box for the tassel because
if you'll use more it's gonna look
really ugly so go ahead and put your dot
grab your tassel and hang it on there
and press it down I know it's hot but
you'll be fine
press it in there and you're done look
at how gorgeous it came out now you have
a cool gift for somebody who's
graduating I'm sure they're gonna love
it they've been appreciate it it came
out really pretty you can add other
design to it you can add your name on it
you can add their name on it it's really
up to you it came out gorgeous and I'm
super happy I made them what did I think
are they cute and there you go you have
a good gift that you could walk into
any party in trust me they they're gonna
love it as soon as they pull on that oh
honey
and they see how that money you're gonna
be the favorite person of the day I hope
